Dr. Lawrence Bass

I am pleased to introduce my new associate, Dr. Lawrence Bass. Dr. Bass and I have worked together and shared the Great Neck office for the past three years. During those periods each month that I work in my office in Boca Raton, Florida, Dr. Bass has kindly provided any necessary follow-up care for my post-operative patients. In turn, I have covered his practice when he has been teaching or traveling. Because of our compatibility, mutual respect, and similar philosophy of practice, and to ensure that we continue to provide the same consistent quality of care you have come to expect from us both, we have decided to formalize our association.

Dr. Bass is a true gentleman, a well-respected, experienced and highly skilled Board Certified plastic surgeon, and an internationally recognized researcher, author and educator with a particular interest and expertise in injectables and lasers. He is a nationally recognized innovator and authority on advanced technologies in aesthetic plastic surgery. Over the past 25 years, he has written and lectured extensively on his research in advanced surgical techniques including laser and other non-surgical technologies. Dr. Bass has been a leading clinical researcher in the FDA approval trials for many of the most exciting injectable and device based technologies in aesthetic medicine today. He has over 90 scientific publications in journals such as Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery and Lasers in Surgery and Medicine. He has presented his research results and aesthetic surgery techniques at over 200 scientific lectures at meetings before the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and Giants in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Symposium sponsored by Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, among others. He has served on the Device and Technique Assessment Committee of the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery and on the Non-surgical Techniques Committee of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He directed the symposium “Emerging Technologies and Techniques in Plastic Surgery” at NYU for more than 12 years to train surgeons in the latest advances. Dr. Bass was the founding plastic surgery course director for a new multidisciplinary symposium “Summit in Aesthetic Medicine” which provided a critical overview of new developments in the surgical and non-surgical sides of this explosively growing field.

Dr. Bass directed the Minimally Invasive Plastic Surgery Program at NYU Medical Center where he was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery for more than 15 years. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Bass is frequently called upon to offer his expertise to the national media, such as CNN, The CBS Early Show, Fox News, The Learning Channel, Doctor Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio, Allure, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, among others and has served as a media spokesperson for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
